Agreement

By accessing or using kuwai.org (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

What Kuwai Is

Kuwai is a professional AI community based in RTP. We organize speaker series, workshops, networking events, and corporate sessions. The Site provides information about our events, tracks, and community, and allows you to register for events and subscribe to our newsletter.

Accounts and Registration

When you register for events or subscribe to our newsletter, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Use a valid email address that belongs to you
• Not register on behalf of others without their consent

We reserve the right to remove registrations that appear to be fraudulent, automated, or otherwise invalid.

Event Attendance

By registering for and attending Kuwai events, you agree to:

• Behave professionally and respectfully toward other attendees, speakers, and organizers
• Not record, photograph, or livestream sessions without explicit permission from the speaker and Kuwai
• Follow any venue-specific rules or guidelines
• Accept that events may be photographed or recorded by Kuwai for promotional purposes. If you do not want to appear in photos or recordings, let an organizer know at the event.

Cancellations and changes

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events. If an event is canceled, we will notify registered attendees via email. For free events, no refund applies. For paid events, we will provide a full refund or credit toward a future event at your choice.

Code of conduct

Kuwai events are professional environments. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, and deliberate disruption of sessions. Violators will be asked to leave and may be banned from future events.

Newsletter (The Kuwai Weekly Brief)

• By subscribing, you consent to receive weekly emails from Kuwai
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email
• We will not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes
• We may occasionally send additional emails about major events or announcements, but we will not abuse your inbox

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, is owned by Kuwai or its content creators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• You may share links to our content freely
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
• Speaker presentations and workshop materials remain the intellectual property of the respective speakers unless otherwise agreed

Corporate Sessions and Partnerships

Corporate sessions, sponsorships, and partnership arrangements are governed by separate agreements between Kuwai and the partner organization. These Terms of Service do not supersede any specific contractual agreements made for corporate engagements.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Site in ways that could disrupt service
• Impersonate another person or organization

Disclaimers

The Site and events are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of content presented at events or on the Site
• The availability or uninterrupted operation of the Site
• The results you may achieve from applying information learned at our events

Kuwai is an educational and community organization. Content shared at our events represents the views of individual speakers and does not constitute professional advice. Always do your own research and consult qualified professionals for specific business decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kuwai and its organizers, speakers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or attendance at events. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.
